How big is a teacup?  A teacup is generally considered to be 6 fluid ounces.  Sooooo.....
  • a 12 oz. teapot (2 cup) will pour 2 normal teacups or 1 mug
  • an 18 oz. teapot (3 cup) will pour 3 normal teacups or 2 small mugs
  • a 24 oz. teapots (4 cup) will pour 4 normal teacups or 2 large mugs
  • a 36 oz. teapot (6 cup) will pour 6 normal teacups or 3 large mugs
  • At this current moment, I don't make teapots bigger than 28 oz., so if you have more than 3 friends, you will need to buy a second teapot. ;)
